Born in Orange and raised in Anaheim, I'm a proud Orange County native with deep Mexican roots. I'm a dual national and that heritage has always been a core part of who I am. In 2021, I made the move to Pomona after purchasing my first home — a milestone I'm really proud of — and I've been settling into life in the Inland Empire ever since.
I've spent the last 14 years building my career at a major auto captive lender, working my way through a range of roles across the organization — from Customer Service and Recovery to Credit Disputes and Credit Furnishing. I currently serve as a Senior Operations Planning Associate in the Servicing & Loyalty Strategy department, where I focus on operational planning and strategy. Along the way I've developed deep expertise in credit reporting and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and I'm recognized internally as a subject matter expert in customer service and escalations.
I started college right out of high school but stepped away before finishing — life had other plans. I made the decision to go back in 2023 and see it through. In September 2025 I earned my Bachelor of Science in Data Science from the University of Phoenix with a 3.96 GPA.
I'm now heading to graduate school, having been accepted into the Master of Computer Science in Data Science program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Grainger College of Engineering, where I'll begin this Fall 2026.
When I'm not working, you will probably find me cheering on LAFC, spending time with my partner, or chasing my Chihuahua mix Fresa around the house — she has her own Instagram, naturally: @LaPerritaFresa. I love to travel and am always looking for the next trip. I also have a genuine passion for coding and web development, spending time outside of work learning and building on my own — this site being one example of that. Lately, I've had a growing interest in exploring my ancestry and Mexican heritage through genealogical research. And if you look closely enough, you might notice I have a thing for tattoos too.
